Twitter reacts to rapper Moozlie comparing herself to the late Brenda Fassie

Entertainment March 18, 2016

Nomuzi Mabena, aka Moozlie spoke to The Juice and had said she is a mixture of Brenda Fassie and American pop star Rihanna, she bluntly said she’s the next Brenda Fassie and Twitter didn’t like it one bit.

The reaction from twitter was somewhat too cold (although the truth doesn’t have temperature) to the rapper – they don’t like the fact that she is comparing herself to the late musical icon Mabrrr aka Brenda.

Look at some of the reactions.

She told The Juice “I don’t know. I like to think of myself as, like, Brenda Fassie meets Rihanna. So if Rihanna was a rapper and like Brenda Fassie, then that would be me,”

Furthermore, looks like Nomuzi will be looking for a new recording label and she parted ways with the current one according to the statement released from her PR company.

“Ms Nomuzi Mabena has enjoyed a very healthy and successful relationship with record label Cashtime Life. As part of her 2016 business strategy Ms Mabena has opted to explore other relationship as her brand-management requirements have evolved, In order to broaden her offering and grow her brand Ms Mabena will be working with specialist agencies in television, music and fashion. Ms Mabena is grateful for the support and guidance she has received from the Cashtime Life team and she wishes them a stellar 2016.”

She continues to trend.
