The new season will start airing on Mzansi Fo Sho starting on Sunday 18 May 2014, at 10h00.

This is how Sthembile expressed her excitement, “When I heard I got the job, I was so happy and grateful to God. I had been trying for this show for a while and finally succeeded in its 14th season when we celebrate 20 years of freedom as a nation. My mom is also very excited for me as she has been praying and supporting me through the tough times of auditioning. She couldn’t help but cry.”

Mhlongo’s classy personality, mixed with Henna’s vibrant persona, creates a unique and interesting on-screen chemistry that is sure to provided added value to the gospel music show.

When asked how he felt about having somebody new joining him, Sisanda said “I’ve watched Sthe (we call her Sthe) interact with the world of gospel in SA; dealing with artists, she has shown that she has comprehensive knowledge of the genre and of players in the arena. She is also deeply connected to the audience. I immediately new she was perfect for the role. She lives gospel, has a warm heart, and loveable spirit about her. Uyathendeka! I am thrilled, and our shoots are already flowing like magic.”

“Sthembile lives and breathes gospel music, and her passion compliments the energy Sisanda has infused into the show – audiences can expect a contagious enthusiasm that celebrates gospel music every Sunday morning on SABC1,” says show’s executive producer, Stephen Lorenzo.
