Curtis James Jackson III, known by his stage name 50 Cent will soon be hosting his own show that will feature, amongst many, comedy sketches, celebrity guest appearances, magic and best music performances.
50 Cent has always had a dream to host a show and lucky for him, his dream has been realized, not only will he be the presenter of a new show: 50 Cent Presents, he’s also an executive produce of the show.
He took to instagram and announced the news
50 Cent spoke to The Hollywood Reporter most recently and he had said “I grew up watching variety shows and am excited to put my own spin on the format. I hope everyone is ready to bring their talent forward, I want to show the world the best of the best.”
Seems everyone’s excited, about 50 Cent’s new show, according to Complex News, Elaine Frontain Bryant who is the network’s head of programming (A&E) of which 50’s show will be aired said “50 Cent is the perfect partner to refresh this classic format, she told THR. “He is a true tastemaker across industries and we are excited to see his impressive showcase of talent.”
The In Da Club rapper filed for bankruptcy in July of 2015, and he had said the payment plan drafted by his creditors will leave him in an “indefinite period of involuntary indentured servitude.” according to reports, he owes creditors a lot more than $30 million (ZAR457m ).
His bankruptcy presumably gave him all the courage he needed to seek for TV opportunities, it did pay off at last. 50 Cent continues to shine and fights his way up to dominate TV.
