The new season of SABC 2’s consumer rights show – SPEAK OUT returns to our screens.

The new SPEAK OUT promises to be more visible and more vigilant. Season 7 will zoom into stories from South Africans in small towns and rural areas where consumers are mostly uninformed about their consumer rights. These are marginalized people of this country. SPEAK OUT will take on to stand and speak for the voiceless, support and educated the exploited consumer. South African consumers can count on SPEAK OUT to expose and hold businesses accountable.
“In the past, SPEAK OUT had 100% black African complainants and with the new season we are encouraging other races to write to us as SPEAK OUT is for all South African consumers whose rights have been violated. There is nowhere to hide when SPEAK OUT is around.” added Lebo Malete – SABC 2 Publicity.
This season of SPEAK OUT will tackle different business sectors and industries. There will be no business too big for SPEAK OUT as the show will seek justice and fair resolution between the complainant and the perpetrator.
Dingaan Mokebe, the show’s host, is intent and vigorous in his journey to resolve consumer issues. He is fearless and ready to pull up his sleeves and tackle the consumer rights violators. This season will leave no issues unsolved and complainants will get their even handedness. SPEAK OUT sets out to be the one place to turn to for South African consumers and aims to educate South Africans on consumer’s rights so that they can handle matters themselves wherever they are.
SPEAK OUT actively communicates with South African consumers through post, e-mail, Facebook and website.
