Minnie Dlamini to host the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCAs) in Nigeria

I must say it’s been a while since I’ve seen Minnie Dlamini in the lime light – I am very excited, and it is with great pleasure to let you know that our very own Minnie, isn’t so mini, as we know, She’ll be co-hosting the Biggest Awards in Africa with Nigerian radio and TV personality IK Osakioduwa.

You can catch the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCAs) on the 5th – and will be broadcast live across the African Continent on the comfort of your home’s DSTV’s Africa Magic Channel.

If you have missed it – the nominees have already been listed and released on the 11th of December 2015 with up to 26 categories, NB: votes closes on 26 February this year.

Minnie Dlamini said in her statement: “I am very excited to be on the biggest platform for celebrating talent in Africa. The AMVCAs recognise and celebrate film and television talent across Africa, and as a proud African, I am truly delighted to play a role in this celebration,”

What has she been up to lately ?


Minnie has been so excited and posted a clip on twitter (as shown above) that she just shot her first Nigerian Cover – News in currently that she has shoot two magazine covers and promo art for the awards show.


I am looking forward seeing my girl shine. I know she’s going to do her best as always – Even though she’ll be exiting SABC’s soccerzone – she’s set to do even bigger things.
