Every Sunday night Tshepo Maseko invites South African Gospel Singers, young and old onto one stage to take South Africa down memory lane on classic gospel hits and good old time hymns with an energetic band led by the popular Bongani from Malaika.

From “What a friend we have in Jesus” to “Amazing grace” and Sesotho hymns like “Lekunutu le Morena”… every classic song has a story behind it’s invention, a personal meaning and an upbringing story for most gospel singers like Rebecca Malope, Sechaba, Winnie Mashaba, Sipho Mkhabane, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and many more.

In every episode one Gospel Artist will choose and perform a gospel classic from “Gospel Songs of the 21st century”, from both local and international popular artists of the time. The 2nd artist taking on the stage will sing a good old time hymn live. Before they take to the stage, they will each share memorable events and personal stories in relation to their chosen Gospel Classic songs of the episode. Their Interviews will be packaged in a form of a trendy, slick and well executed inserts with a definitive backround for each slot.

After each insert an artist takes to the stage to sing a powerful good old classic song backed by the Gospel Classics band and singers. The show will also have what will be aptly called a celebrities choice of TOP 3 videos of Today’s Hits! Tomorrow’s Classics! Through our hotline  viewers will be able to leave messages and dedications to their loved ones and in each episode, phone dedications will be played out live and a great piece by our band guest will be performed. The show will end on a high note where Pastor Zondo gives a musical Power minute motivation backed up by the Gospel Classic’s band performance.
